ME-1000 microEFIS Backup Attitude System
$1,495.00
| Displays on iPAQ Pocket PC: Standard aircraft attitude indicator with pitch bars and roll angle marks, skid ball, and turn coordinator. Also shows aircraft bus voltage and iPAQ battery condition. Includes solid state gyro module, cigarette lighter power cord, serial cable for iPAQ for 3600 and 3700 series, microEFIS software for iPAQ, and user manual. Requires Compaq iPAQ Pocket PC, any color model, 32MB of memory is sufficient. If 3800 iPAQ model is used, ME-1000-38C cable is required (see below) Heading and GPS displays require ME-1000G, see below. |

| ME-1000G Stabilized Heading (DG backup) and GPS navigation data display option |
$100.00
| Provides DG backup by displaying gyro stabilized heading (referenced to GPS ground track) and GPS waypoint data (distance, time, bearing, track, track error, ground speed, and CDI) plus GPS altitude (if available) from GPS receiver. Requires serial feed from GPS receiver in NMEA format (all portable GPS's) or panel mounted GPS using microEFIS Smart Cable (see below). Requires that GPS receiver have a waypoint database. Compatible with Garmin 89, 90, 92, 95, 195, 295, GPS Pilot III, Lowrance 100/300, and UPS Precedus. Displays on one screen: aircraft attitude, turn coordinator, skid ball, heading, and GPS nav data.
Since it is unlikely that an electrical failure will happen simultaneously with a vacuum/gyro failure, a nav feed from a panel mounted GPS to the microEFIS is practical and effective. A nav feed from a portable GPS provides GPS nav information and heading on the iPAQ's screen independent of all aircraft systems.

| ME-1000C Mounting Cradle with integral cable for 3600/3700 iPAQ |
$95.00
| This cradle latches any 3600/3700 iPAQ in place and provides a secure connection to the iPAQ's serial and power connector. This cradle eliminates the fragile iPAQ serial connection. The cable from the cradle connects to the gyro module's iPAQ port. This cradle is compatible with the Icarus yoke mount, ME-1000YM, described below. The cradle may also be attached to a flat plate using the supplied hardware. This cradle does not support any optional iPAQ sleeves (see ME-1000YMS, below). |

| ME-1000YMC Yoke mount for iPAQ mounting cradle |
$60.00
| This Yoke Mount is used with the ME-1000C cradle described above. It includes a yoke C Clamp, adjustable arm, and base that attaches to the ME-1000C. All required hardware is included. |

| ME-1000-38C Serial cable for iPAQ 3800 series |
$50.00
| Connects to bottom of 3800 and to gyro module (6 feet long) |

| ME-1000SP Multitasking Option: Compact Flash Card serial port, CF sleeve, and cable (eight feet) |
$225.00
| Allows simultaneous operation of microEFIS and third party moving map products by providing a second serial port for gyro data while GPS data comes in through main serial port. Buttons on iPAQ are used to switch between applications. Eliminates the need to re-align the microEFIS gyro when switching between applications. Includes eight foot cable to gyro module.
If the moving map product uses a CF plug-in GPS receiver, this option is NOT required, since the main serial port on the iPAQ may be used for the gyro module. This option is not required if iPAQ is dedicated to microEFIS use while in IFR flight, as long as the gyro is connected to the serial port on the bottom of the iPAQ.
Note: If this option is purchased, the ME-1000G GPS display option generally is not used, since the moving map product provides this function. However, if an NMEA data stream with waypoint data is fed into the gyro's GPS port, the ME-1000G option will also provide GPS data on the microEFIS screen along with stabilized heading.

| ME-1000GC Data and Power cable for Garmin Portable GPS Receivers using round connector |
$65.00
| Allows GPS to directly connect to microEFIS gyro module. Aircraft power is routed to the GPS receiver through the gyro module, eliminating the need for a separate cigarette lighter connection for the GPS. Compatible with Garmin 295, GPS III Pilot, 89, 90, and 92. |

| ME-1000SC Smart Cable for use with panel mount GPS receivers |
$125.00
| This cable converts the Aviation Format serial data to NMEA format. This cable plugs into the GPS port on the gyro module; the unterminated end is wired to a plug which mates to a panel mounted jack that is connected to the GPS receiver serial output. This cable requires the GPS option (ME-1000G) described above. Compatible with all Garmin, Honeywell, UPSAT, and Trimble receivers. Contact factory if GPS is Northstar M-3. |

$95.00
| This low profile yoke mount allows the mounting of any iPAQ model. This mount utilizes the standard plastic sleeve that comes with all iPAQ's. A steel strain relief is provided for the standard serial connector on 3600/3700 models to prevent accidental dislodgment. Includes yoke C clamp, adjustable arm, and aluminum mounting plate for iPAQ basic sleeve. All required hardware is provided. This mount will function with any iPAQ-based aviation products.
